Office of Human Resources home faculty/staff new employees retirees work @ Le Moyne Welcome Office of Human Resources Mission Statement The Office of Human Resources is a people oriented organization focused on providing comprehensive policies, programs, and services for our people in alignment with the core values of the College. It supports the needs and interests of the members of the campus community and serves the mission of Le Moyne College. Office of Human Resources Vision To be a premier Human Resources department driven by a spirit of excellence and care for the development and wellbeing of the whole person. Diversity Statement Inspired by St. Ignatius of Loyola's capacity to find God in all things, Le Moyne seeks to build a respectful, welcoming campus culture that celebrates difference and models inclusion. Uniqueness is expressed through gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age physical and mental attributes, and religious and political beliefs. A Catholic, Jesuit college has a particular responsibility to provide an environment for the safe and nurturing exploration of difference, while also offering rich, ample opportunities for students to pursue the Jesuit ideal of "education in dialogue with the world." OneLeMoyne Strategic Priorities Fully and energetically express the College's Catholic and Jesuit mission, identity and character; Vigorously pursue academic excellence across all programs; Create organizational excellence in resource stewardship and professional practices throughout the College; Maintain an intellectually, socially and spiritually vibrant College community; Promote greater diversity within the Le Moyne community and increased engagement between the College and other communities regionally, nationally and internationally; Achieve a national reputation for excellence in Jesuit education. Happening in Human Resources Post-Retirement Benefit Changes Please review the full letter from Jack Matson, Associate Vice President of Human Resources in regards to the Post-Retirement benefit changes. Here is a summary of those changes: After careful consideration of the feedback and information shared by our faculty and staff, the College’s goal of sustaining competitive total compensation package and the reality of our overall financial position the following decision has been made: The College will no longer offer a subsidized retirement healthcare plan to faculty and staff employees effective July 1, 2015. Therefore employees who meet the eligibility requirements of the current retirement healthcare plan and want to participate in this plan must retire no later than June 30, 2015. The College will continue to provide access to the retirement healthcare, payable by the retiree at 100% of premium, as long as the employee is at least age 55 and has at least 10 years of service on the retirement date. We will not be making changes to the active (existing) retirees healthcare benefit program at this time. 2013 Professional Development Day Thursday, May 30th!
