The Beatrice Robinson, Ph.D. Advisor of the Year Award

This award recognizes faculty members who demonstrate excellence in academic advisement, affirming the integral role advisors play in student succes. The award is named in honor of Beatrice Robinson, a professor of biology at Le Moyne for 26 years, who was the Rev. Msgr. A. Robert Casey Teacher of the Year in 1989 and the first recipient of the Robert E. O'Brien, S.J., Service Award in 1999. Through her work as the only first-year biology advisor for the initial 20 years of the College's first-year advising program, Dr. Robinson was an exceptional mentor to students.
