As a prospective or new Le Moyne College student, let us be the first to greet you. While we expect that you will have a wonderful time at the college, we understand that you may need assistance with the transition to the US. Please take a moment to prepare for this new experience by reviewing the contents of this web page.
Le Moyne College attracts numerous international students to the Syracuse area each year. These individuals represent varying ethnicities, religions, races, etc. Within the past couple of years, we have welcomed students from Albania, China, Jamaica, Jordan, Mongolia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, among many others, to our campus.
"People travel because it teaches them things they can learn no other way."
- Lance Morrow
The Center for Academic Advising and Engagement provides an advisement service to its international students which includes assistance with immigration guidelines and academic guidance. All undergraduate and graduate students who are studying at Le Moyne under the direction of an F-1 student visa receive assistance on issues such as maintaining status, employment, practical training, etc. They are also required to attend a mandatory international orientation session upon their entrance to the College. This session provides students with valuable information regarding immigration regulations.
