Record Incoming Class on Campus for Summer Welcome Sessions
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release)... Le Moyne welcomed approximately 640 members of the Class of 2015 – and more than 1,200 parents – as the College held three “Summer Welcome Sessions” in July. These one-day sessions are the first phase of a new orientation model designed to acquaint Le Moyne’s newest students with the first-year experience, including academic expectations. By the end of each session, students will have met their first-year advisors and will be armed with fall course schedules, student ID cards, email accounts, and details about their return to campus. posted on: 7/15/2011
New students will complete their orientation at “Fall Arrival,” an expanded experience that will take place from Aug. 25 to 28 and provide students with an understanding of the meaning of a Le Moyne education, represented by its ideals of Spirit, Inquiry, Leadership, and Jesuit.
This is the third consecutive year that Le Moyne has welcomed the largest first-year class in the 65-year history of the Jesuit institution.
