A modern theater classic, Rhinoceros is a masterpiece for all time, equally relevant in post-9/11 America as it was when first written in post-war Paris. A small town is besieged as its citizens are inexplicably transforming into rhinoceroses. The trampling becomes overwhelming as more and more citizens join the lock-step march towards conformity in the face of terror. One sane man remains, unable to change his form and identity. The sublime is confused with the ridiculous in this savage commentary on the human condition and our knee-jerk reaction to fear of the unknown.

This Le Moyne College production of Rhinoceros will be under the direction of Matt Chiorini. Scenery will be designed by Karel Blakeley and costumes designed by Meggan Camp.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $10 for senior citizens and $4 for students and the Le Moyne community. For additional information and ticket reservations, please call the W. Carroll Coyne Center for the Performing Arts at (315) 445-4523 or visit www.lemoyne.edu/vpa.
