Le Moyne College Hosts Talk on Searching for Cancer's Secrets in Kenya
<p>SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … Le Moyne College will host a talk by Dr. Rosemary Rochford on Thursday, March 27, at 6 p.m. in Grewen Auditorium. The title of her talk is “Searching for Cancer's Secrets in Kenya.”<br />

Dr. Rosemary Rochford, a professor at Upstate Medical University, has traveled to the shores of Lake Victoria in Kenya to study Endemic Burkitt's lymphoma, the most common childhood cancer in sub-Saharan Africa. She will give a brief history of the research on the disease, and discuss the work being done in Kenya to combat it.<br />
