SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … Le Moyne College will host a talk by Rebecca F. Plante on Wednesday, March 26, at 7 p.m. in Grewen Auditorium. The talk is titled “Hooking Up on Campus: Sex in the Little City.”

In her talk, Plante, assistant professor of sociology at Ithaca College, will discuss undergraduate students’ experiences with dating and other kinds of sexual relationships, common sexual practices, and the value and meaning these practices have to students. Her books include “Sexualities in Context: A Social Perspective” (Westview, 2006) and “Sexualities: Identities, Behaviors, and Society,” co-edited with Michael S. Kimmel (Oxford, 2004).
