COMPOSER STEVE REICH VISITS LE MOYNE FOR PERFORMANCE BY ANDREW RUSSO
<p>SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release). . .One of the 20th century's most important composers, Steve Reich visits Le Moyne College for a performance of his music by artist-in-residence Andrew Russo, his trio Real Quiet, pianist Robert Auler and percussionist Robert Bridge.<br />

The performance is scheduled for Thursday,October 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the W. Carroll Coyne Center for the Performing Arts.<br />

Tickets are $12 general/$7 seniors. The concert is free to the Le Moyne community. For more information, call 445-4523.<br />

The performance is part of Music Journeys, Inc., which brings professional musicians and performers to Syracuse from around the country. Reich’s visit is one of three scheduled, through a partnership between Le Moyne College, SUNY Oswego and Onondaga Community College. <br />

New York Times has called Steve Reich “our greatest living composer" and The New Yorker referred to him as the “most original musical thinker of our time.”<br />
