Le Moyne College to Host Lecture on Mark Twain
<p>SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … Le Moyne College will host a lecture by Dr. Michael Kiskis on Tuesday, October 2, at 6 p.m. in the Reilley Room, located in Reilly Hall. The title of his talk is "Domestic Twain: How Sam Clemens' Domestic Sphere Affected His Work."<br />

Dr. Michael Kiskis of Elmira College is editor of “Mark Twain's Own Autobiography: The Chapters from the North American Review.” In his talk, he will particularly address Twain's complicated response to the cult of domesticity in nineteenth-century America, as well as his response to the emerging issue of child abuse. <br />

The lecture is free and open to the public.</p>
