Le Moyne College Observes Constitution Day

(For Immediate Release) … Le Moyne College will observe Constitution Day on Monday, September 17, with a talk by history professor Robert Scully, S.J., titled "Church and State in the U.S. Constitution: How Permeable is the Wall of Separation?” The lecture will take place at 4 p.m. in the Reilley Room, located in Reilly Hall. <br />

Constitution Day commemorates the signing of the United States Constitution on September 17, 1787. In 2005, a new federal law was enacted that requires all schools that receive federal funds to hold an educational program on the United States Constitution every year on Constitution Day.</p>
