Le Moyne College Bachelor Program in Nursing Receives Accreditation

<p>SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … The bachelor of science degree program in nursing at Le Moyne College has been accredited by the Collegiate Commission on Nursing Education (CCNE) for the maximum of five years allowable for a new program of study. The CCNE is an autonomous accrediting arm of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. The CCNE team, after examining departmental mission and governance, institutional commitment and resources, curriculum policies and teaching-learning practices, and student performance and faculty qualifications, reported that the RN-BS program was in total compliance with all four standards for program quality and effectiveness.<br /> <br /> In addition, the New York State Education Department officially re-registered both the undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing for the next five years.<br /> <br /> For more information on Le Moyne’s nursing programs, call 445-5435.</p>
