Le Moyne College Celebrates the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

<p>SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … On Tuesday, January 30, at 5:30 p.m., the Rev. Jennifer Baskerville-Burrows will talk on "The Challenge of Justice for the Next Generation," at the College's annual celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The talk will take place at the Panasci Family Chapel.<br /> <br /> Baskerville-Burrows has served as rector of Grace Episcopal Church in Syracuse and as Episcopal chaplain at Syracuse University since August 2004. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Smith College and a master's degree from Cornell University. After earning her Master of Divinity Degree from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley, Calif., in 1997, she was ordained in the Episcopal Church. She has served congregations in Endicott, N.Y.; Morristown, N.J.; and San Francisco, Calif.<br /> <br /> She is active in the areas of racial and economic justice and food justice, and recently completed terms as vice president of the Episcopal Women's Caucus and president of Gathering the NeXt Generation, a national network of Generation X and Y clergy and laity. <br /> <br /> The program is free and open to the public.<br /> <br /> For more information: <br /> http://www.gracesyracuse.org</p>
