Le Moyne College Presents an Evening of Shakespeare Monologues and Discussion

<p>SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … Le Moyne College will present “A Life So Far,” an evening of Shakespeare monologues and discussion with noted stage actor John Douglas Thompson. The event will take place on Monday, February 12, at 8 p.m. in the Jesuit Theater in the W. Carroll Coyne Center for the Performing Arts.<br /> <br /> John Douglas Thompson is one of the country's pre-eminent Shakespearean actors. His extensive resume includes Broadway, international and off-Broadway in productions such as “Julius Caesar,” “Henry IV,” “Othello,” “King Lear,” and “The Merchant of Venice.” Thompson also has appeared on such television shows as “Law &amp; Order,” “Conviction,” and “All My Children.” He graduated from Le Moyne in 1985.<br /> <br /> The event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the lecture committee, the Black History Month program, BOND, POWER, the Rev. Kevin O'Connell, S.J.
