Le Moyne College Hosts Reading by Michael Mohammad Knight

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … Le Moyne College will host a reading by Michael Mohammad Knight on Thursday, March 5, at 2:30 p.m. in the Reilley Room, located in Reilly Hall.


Michael Muhammad Knight's work has been censored, boycotted, confiscated, and threatened with legal action. His first book, “The Taqwacores,” was originally photocopied, bound by hand, and distributed for free, and is now taught in numerous colleges and universities as a “ ‘Catcher in the Rye’ for Muslim youth.” He is also the author of “Blue-Eyed Devil” and “The Five Percenters,” examinations of indigenous American Islam. He is currently working on a memoir, “Impossible Man,” and a second novel, “Osama Van Halen.” Knight recently completed the pilgrimage to Mecca.
