Le Moyne and Syracuse International Film Festival Team Up for Events Showcasing Rob Nilsson

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … The film program at Le Moyne College, in conjunction with the Syracuse International Film Festival, will be presenting the following events in February designed to showcase the work of renowned and award-winning independent film maker, Rob Nilsson:

Thurs., Feb. 25, 5 p.m.

Screening of Nilsson’s “Presque Isle” (2007), which takes up the story of the grandson of one of the farmers featured in “Northern Lights” as he struggles to cope with a loss in the present by revisiting his, and his family’s, past.

Fri., Feb. 26, noon
Reilley Room, Reilly Hall
Rob Nilsson and actress Michelle Anton Allen (who stars in “Presque Isle”) will visit Le Moyne to discuss their work.

The events are free and open to the public.

This series of events will culminate in a screening of Nilsson’s most recent film, “Imbued,” on Fri., Feb. 26, at 7:30 p.m. The event takes place at the Palace Theater, 2384 James Street. Nilsson will be on hand for discussion after the screening.
