Le Moyne College joins Area Arts Organizations in the IDEAS Collaborative
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … Le Moyne College's department of visual and performing arts is pleased to join 41 area arts organizations in the IDEAS (Initiative to Develop and Engage Audiences in Syracuse) Collaborative. The project is a cooperative venture that seeks to strengthen the cultural fabric of the Syracuse community by using research and engagement strategies to increase participation, identify and grow sustainable audiences, develop targeted marketing strategies and uncover opportunities for cooperative activity and resource sharing.
According to Kristi McKay, manager of the W. Carroll Coyne Center for the Performing Arts, “We are excited about partnering in this initiative, to be a part of cultivating the community’s understanding and support of all of the arts here, which can only add to the vitality of this region. This project will not only provide valuable direction for audience development but will also serve as a stimulus for creative collaborations between arts and cultural organizations throughout out Central New York."
