Le Moyne College Celebrates Reunion Weekend June 2 – 5

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (For Immediate Release) … More than 1,000 alumni, family and friends are expected to attend Le Moyne College’s Reunion 2011, held on the campus Thursday through Sunday, June 2 – 5.

Highlights of the weekend include:

Friday, June 3
11:30 a.m.: Dolphins Go Golfin’ Luncheon/Dolphins Go’ Golfin’ Golf Tournament, Pompey Club
7 p.m. - midnight: Class Parties, various locations on campus

Saturday, June 4
10 a.m.: “Ask the Experts”
Financial experts Mike Madden ’71, Steve Scrobe ’81 and others share their knowledge about the economy, investing and the future of financial markets.

11 a.m.: Conversation with Le Moyne’s President Fred P. Pestello, Ph.D., Reilley Room

Noon: Family Barbecue, Athletic Center

2 p.m.: Young Alumni Party, Campus Center

7:15 p.m.: Alumni Awards Dinner
Grace S. Wolff, M.D. ’61 will be honored with the College’s Distinguished Alumna Award.

Sunday, June 5
10 a.m.: Ignatian Liturgy, Panasci Family Chapel

11:30 a.m.: Ignatian Awards Brunch
Honorees include: Professional Achievement Awards to Katherine Purcell ’66 and J. Thomas Mullen ’66 (posthumously); Service to Le Moyne to Dominick Pullano ’76; Community Service to Charles Michaud ’66 and Mary Beth Dunn ’86; Young Alumna Award to Barbara McHugh Marino ’01; and Honorary Alumna to Bettye Dunn.
