Loyola Institute

Le Moyne College--in partnership with the Catholic Diocese of Syracuse--has developed a unique initiative for high school students at Bishop Ludden Sr. High School, Bishop Grimes Prep and Christian Brothers Academy. It's called the Loyola Institute at LeMoyne College and it allows students from these three schools to:

  • Experience the benefits of a Jesuit education

  • Get acclimated to college life while still in high school

  • Meet students at other local Catholic high schools

  • Save money while earning up to 12 college credits  (see FAQ's at bottom of this page).

  • Earn an academic scholarship to Le Moyne (see FAQ's).

The faith-filled and academically-challenging environment of the Loyola Institute at Le Moyne College puts Catholic high school students in Syracuse on the fast track to success and savings in their pursuit of higher education.

Admission to Loyola

Students who are finishing the 10th grade can apply for admission to the Loyola Institute. Applicants must have an 85 academic average or it's equivalent and have some demonstrated participation in school and/or community activities. To apply, students should complete the application form below and submit it to Le Moyne's Office of Continuing Education. Admission decisions will be made starting in May.
