    Taming of the Shrew

    The Department of Visual and Performing Arts at Le Moyne presents “The Taming of the Shrew” by William Shakespeare. Described as an epic battle of the sexes, the production will combine comedy with controversy in a fast and fizzy production.

    Reimagined as a “play within a play” performed in an Italian Restaurant, this challenging slapstick comedy will be under the direction of Theatre Program Director Matt Chiorini. Scenery is designed by Associate Professor Karel Blakeley and costumes designed by Visiting Assistant Professor Lindsey Sikes.

    Tickets are $15 adults/$10 senior citizens/$5 students and the Le Moyne community members. The play will be performed at 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, Saturday, Oct. 22, Thursday, Oct. 27, Friday, Oct. 28, and Saturday, Oct. 29, with a matinee performed at 2 p.m. on Oct. 29.
