    Food is Medicine

Our food choices have a profound effect on our overall health and well-being. But what is the optimal way to eat? Thomas M. Campbell, M.D., co-author of the China Study, a best-selling book named after one of the most comprehensive nutrition studies to date, will discuss how our food choices can help us to feel better, function better, prevent and even reverse some of our most common chronic health conditions.

A board-certified family physician with expertise in nutrition, Dr. Campbell is the medical director of the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, a nonprofit education partner of eCornell. He is also co-founder and clinical director of the groundbreaking University of Rochester Program for Nutrition in Medicine, where he works with individuals and groups to prevent and treat disease with diet and lifestyle.

Free and open to the public.

This event is sponsored by the generosity of the Anne Palony ’65 Wellness Lecture Series Fund.
