Capitalism For Social Good - A Dolphin's Journey

By any measure, Paul Galvin '84 has enjoyed a stellar career since graduating from Le Moyne with an accounting degree. Prior to working for two decades in real estate development, Galvin founded a nonprofit organization focused on public health, housing and child survival. In 2007, he began SG Blocks, a leading innovator of container-based structures, repurposing shipping containers into "green building blocks" for commercial, industrial and residential use. Its clients include Lacoste, Puma, Mini Cooper and Marriott. SG Blocks went public in June 2017. Galvin's philosophy: pursue things you are passionate about, pursue them relentlessly and don’t be timid about chasing your dreams.
