2013 Summer Arts Institute:Visual Arts

 

July 22-26

New this summer! In this week-long camp, young artists will explore working in both two and three dimensions. They will learn the basics of technical, still life, landscape, and figure drawing using a variety of mediums, including graphite and charcoal. They will also learn the basics in modeling, construction, and assemblage techniques in wood, plaster, clay and other mediums. The week will conclude with a public exhibition of the students' works.

 

For youth entering grades 8-12

Hours: 9-4
Fee: $220
Additional materials fee: $25
