Summer Conservation Intern

    Two interns are needed to assist with the implementation of a summer leadership program for high school students. Interns will primarily be responsible for assisting with logistical and operational aspects of the Wildlife Leadership Adventures program and planning prior to and following the camp. Interns will be expected to live at the field site from July 7-11, and work the long hours necessary for operating a residential summer camp. During the camp, interns will largely be responsible for managing the logistical aspects of the program and making sure the operational aspects run smoothly.

Start Date: Late May/early June
Duration: 12 weeks

Salary:  Stipend: $3,300 for 12 weeks ($275/wk

    We're looking for HIGH-CALIBER STAFF to round out our community for our Mayhew boys who all come from disadvantaged backgrounds and participate tuition-free. Regardless of the reason for their referrals, all 42 Mayhew boys during our 2 summer sessions must make their own decision to join the Mayhew community and to strive to live up to its ideals and expectations. Mayhew is much more then a summer camp, and offers year round programming. We employ 6 full-time staff members who visit with the boys in their home communities throughout the school-year.
