    A weeklong seminar featuring legendary investment advisor Martin J. Whitman, noted author and finance professor Fernando Diz, and Jim Joseph, dean of the Madden School of Business and theformer CEO who led Oneida LTD out of bankruptcy as well as returning Oneida to its rightful place as the number one tabletop brand in North America

    Seminar Goals Include:

    • Learning the mechanics of the bankruptcy process to help understand how to make strategic investments in distressed securities
    • Achieving a thorough understanding of how to value the assets of a bankruptcy estate
    • Review actual Chapter 11 cases to better understand the intricacies of the process as well as who the players are and what their goals are

    • The cost of the seminar is $1,000 and it meets the requirements of a New York State three-credit business course.
    • Sessions will run from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
    • Refreshments will be served.
