First-year students

First-year students attend a Summer Welcome Day session of their choice with their parents– we generally offer three sessions during June, so please choose the date that works best for you. During that visit to campus, students and parents will have an opportunity to learn more about Le Moyne and its resources, and get important information resolved for the Fall semester, including your fall course schedule.

The First-year Common Reading selection will be announced at your Summer Welcome Day, and you will have ample opportunity to complete your reading assignment over the summer.

You will also be prompted to tell us the guests who will attend Summer Welcome with you, such as a parent or guardian. Since we will have a full day of parent programming to accompany our student programming, we encourage you to bring a family member with you so that you all know what to expect in your First-year Experience at Le Moyne.

We expect that all members of the incoming class will attend a Summer Welcome Day. While mandatory, we realize that for varying reasons, some students may be unable to attend due to significant time conflicts or distance. If so, please contact the Student Development Office at 315.445.4525 to make alternate arrangements.
