    Alum, Astronaut Jeanette Epps '92 on Cover of Woman's Day Magazine

    The September 2017 issue of the national publication Woman's Day features a cover story on Jeanette Epps, who next year will become the first African American on the International Space Station.

    Epps is a 1992 Le Moyne alumna, grew up in Syracuse and also graduated from Corcoran High School. Her twin sister Janet, who is mentioned in the story, also went to Le Moyne. Read story on syracuse.com.

    Epps will travel to the ISS in May or June 2018 (the exact date is weather dependent) and is expected to stay on the station for at least six months. Watch how Le Moyne inspired her to reach her lofty goals.
