Graduate Nursing Program Named One of Top 150 by U.S. News & World Report

In its recently released 2019 rankings, U.S. New & World Report has listed Le Moyne's Graduate Program in nursing as #146 in the nation. This is the first time that Le Moyne has been ranked by the publication in the "Best Nursing Schools: Master's" category.

The College's graduate nursing offering is comprised of three programs of study - Family Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education, and Nursing Administration. In addition, it offers a unique program of study for Registered Nurses with bachelor's degrees in other fields to transition seamlessly into the College’s graduate nursing programs.

"We are honored to have received national recognition for our program," said Margaret Wells, Ph.D., R.N., APN- BC, interim dean of the Purcell School of Professional Studies at Le Moyne College. "Le Moyne has a long history of excellence in health care education at both the graduate and undergraduate levels, which is certainly strengthened by this notoriety."

The U.S. News rankings are based on the 14 indicators, including peer assessment, acceptance rate, faculty resources, percentage of faculty with important academic achievements in the field and research activity. Learn more about the methodology used in the rankings here.
