Le Moyne Named to Princeton Review

    August 10, 2015

Le Moyne Makes The Princeton Review's 2016 National Ranking for Best Colleges in the U.S.

For the third consecutive year, Le Moyne has been ranked by The Princeton Review as one of the nation's best institutions for undergraduate education, according to “The Best 380 Colleges,” the 2016 college guide that goes on sale today. In achieving the national ranking, Le Moyne joins the ranks of some of the most elite institutions in the U.S.

"This is wonderful recognition for Le Moyne, and continues to strengthen our reputation for overall excellence as an institution,” said Le Moyne President Linda LeMura. “Our inclusion on this list is particularly satisfying considering that The Princeton Review rankings are based on feedback from students on a number of topics, including academic excellence, campus life, facilities and their interaction with faculty and administrators.”

Only the top 15 percent of America's 2,500 four-year colleges are profiled in 2016 edition of the book, which includes detailed profiles of each college along with ratings for each school.

The rankings are based on The Princeton Review's survey of students at colleges and universities across the nation. For those 380 institutions who made the national list, approximately 136,000 students (about 358 per campus on average) completed an 80-question survey about their school's academics, administration, student body, and themselves.

Founded in 1981, The Princeton Review is an educational services company known for its test-prep courses, university admission services, and its annual college, business, and law school rankings. More information on The Princeton Review's 2016 rankings can be found here.
