Record 71% of Le Moyne Student-Athletes Named to NE-10 Honor Roll

The Northeast-10 Conference has announced student-athletes named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Spring 2016 semester. Among 16 institutions (including associate member LIU Post), 3,661 student-athletes were honored, including 217 from Le Moyne.

Among the Dolphins' 21 athletic programs, a department-record 71% of Le Moyne student-athletes earned a spot on this prestigious list. The Dolphins ranked third among the 15-member conference behind only Adelphi University (80%) and Bentley University (77%). The 71% mark is the highest mark by the department over the 15 semesters of the current Honor Roll structure, a 2% increase from the Fall semester and a 7% increase from each semester of the 2014-15 academic year. The previous best percentage was 69%, which was registered during the Fall 2015 semester. Of Le Moyne's 305 student-athletes, 39% achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or greater, including 19 who earned perfect 4.0 grade point averages this semester, which ranked as the sixth-highest total in the conference.

The Northeast-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll recognizes the conference's student-athletes for achievement in the classroom. To be eligible for selection, a student-athlete must have met and or exceeded a minimum 3.0 grade point average for the Spring semester. View the list of Le Moyne students recognized here.
