    Men's Golf Coach Tesori '71 Honored by PGA of America

    Joe Tesori '71, who recently received the PGA of America's Bill Strausbaugh Award during the 100th annual PGA meeting in New York City. This award is given to a PGA professional who displays outstanding integrity, character and leadership through a commitment to mentoring and making significant impacts on the careers of other PGA professionals.

    Tesori, a member of the Greater Syracuse Sports Hall of Fame, has made significant contributions during his distinguished career with the CNY PGA as a counselor, teacher and advisor. He has served  head coach of the Le Moyne College men's golf team since 2008, and was named Northeast 10 Conference Golf Coach of the Year in 2009. He is shown in the photo with Suzy Whaley, a PGA vice president and professional golfer from Connecticut, who was one of Joe's students. Watch the video tribute and award ceremony here.
