Introduction
Scholarships/Fellowships
The mission of the Le Moyne College Scholarship
Committee is to encourage and assist Le Moyne College undergraduates
in competing for the most notable of undergraduate and graduate
fellowships and scholarships—the Rhodes, Fulbright,
Marshall, Truman, to name a few. These prestigious fellowships
are not only rewarding in themselves, they can open up opportunities
and grant a distinction that could transform your life.
Naturally, the most prestigious fellowships are the most
desirable—and the most competitive. But could be well
within the reach of Le Moyne College students who have strong
academic records. Last year, sophomore, Michael Feely was
awarded the prestigious and highly competitive Goldwater Scholarship.
Earning one of these fellowships/scholarships requires planning
and preparation. That's where you need the advice and assistance
of the Le
Moyne College Scholarship Coordinator. Even if you are
now a Freshman, it is not too early to seek guidance. And
if you are a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior, there are fellowships
you can apply for this year.
Whether you are interested in fellowships/scholarships available
for undergraduate study (awards you can use while at Le Moyne)
or in fellowships/scholarships available for graduate study
(awards you can use after Le Moyne) the place to start is
with the College Committee's general information.
