Resources for Part Time Students
Realizing that each student has unique personal goals, experiences,
and potential, the Center for Continuing Education offers a comprehensive
array of services to make sure that each student's needs are met.
Whether pursuing an undergraduate degree, a Career Certificate
program, or just one course for personal enrichment, the staff
of the Center for Continuing Education will assist you and support
your efforts.
Information for Part Time Students
Some of the services we offer include:
Academic Support Center (ASC) - Enrolling in
college courses as an adult learner is both exciting and challenging.
The ASC's goal is to provide you with a solid foundation of
study skills and learning strategies through individual and
group tutoring sessions and a variety of workshops. Both day

Advisement - The Center provides comprehensive
services including academic advisement, additional evening
hours, as well as coordination of evening, Saturday, and summer
classes to best serve our adult students. Academic advisors
are also available to help with course selection, writing
up transfer credit evaluations and providing you with information
on how to complete a degree. Call 315-445-4141 for an appointment.
Financial Aid - Continuing
Education students may be available for financial aid. Contact
should be made at least four weeks prior to the start of each

Immunizations - All students born after
January 1, 1957 are required by New York State to complete the
immunization form, or have their immunizations records faxed
to Student Health Services (315) 445-4714 by the first day of
class. In addition to the immunization form, all students
will need to complete a Meningitis response form.
Information Technology - Computing facilities
are located throughout the College and are utilized in conjunction
with many courses and are available for student use. Training
courses on desktop applications, electronic mail and accessing
the Internet are provided free of charge at the beginning of

Orientation Programs at the beginning of each
Fall and Spring Semester - The program includes workshops
and presentations introducing students to the college's Computing
Facilities, Library, and Academic Support Services, as well
as a tour of the campus. Participants are also given advice
about balancing work, school and family and the opportunity
to meet adult learners. Click

Parking -
All
students must register their car and obtain a parking sticker.
Part time and graduate education students can purchase a parking
sticker at the Center for Continuing Education, Reilly Hall
342. Daytime students can park in Lot A at the Athletic Center
or Lot C behind the Dining Center. After
5:00 pm and all day
on Saturdays, students with appropriate parking stickers may
park directly behind Grewen Hall. If you purchase a sticker in the Fall semester, it is
not neccessary to purchase another one for Spring. At this time,
you
do not need to purchase a parking sticker for
Summer courses.
Student ID (Dolphin Card) - All Le Moyne Students must have a student ID, known as a Dolphin Card. An ID is necessary to check books out of the library or to use the Recreation Center. Students can also obtain discounts on tickets to on-campus events and attend Le Moyne basketball games for free. These picture IDs may be acquired from the Student Development Office which is located in the Dining Center. Call 315-445-4526 for directions and any further information. Hours: MTWF - 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, TH - 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Extended hours: Saturday August 23,
8:30 am - 4:30 pm and August 27, 8:30 am - 6:00 pm.
