Dr. David Smith
Research Interests:
Ecosystem Ecology and Environmental Education. Generally interested
in factors that influence the distribution and abundance of
organisms, most especially aquatic insects. Currently working
on the biogeographical distribution of dragonflies (Odonata)
in the Bahamian Archipelago as well as assisting with the preparation
of an electronic inventory of Bahamian insect diversity.

Prof. Georgene Carson
Research Interests:
The possibly significant impact of the European Dreissena polymorpha on the North American ecosystems. The filtration rates and the reproductive biology of this organism are studied in the laboratory, but also field studies are initiated on population growth and environmental impact.
