How to hide courses from your list of current courses in Blackboard
If you would like to have a course site removed from the "My Courses" list on the main Blackboard screen, there is no a feature in Version 6, that allows Faculty to "hide" any course that they do not want "cluttering up" their "My Courses" list, without actually deleting them.
In the upper right corner of the courses list, there is an icon that looks like a pencil ( See below).
![]()
By clicking on the pencil icon, it brings up a new screen, which lists all of the courses that you have taught and the options available for displaying them.....By checking (or un-checking) the boxes in the "show course" section, your course will either be visible or hidden from view in the "My Courses" menu on the Bb main page...
This allows the course to remain on Bb, but not clutter up your "My Courses" menu....As is always the case, your course will AUTOMATICALLY be archived and deleted from the Blackboard server after one year and one semester. You do NOT have to request this....these courses can be re-created from archive if it ever becomes necessary to regenerate them.
