How Alumni Can Help StudentsListing a job or internship opportunity with us. Depending upon the type of position, Career Services can either post
the position on its World Wide Web page of job listings or refer resumes
of qualified and interested candidates. Joining the Career Advisory Network - C.A.N. Through the Career Advisory Network (C.A.N.), alumni avail themselves
to students, offering information and advise relative to their profession,
industry, employer etc... This is done through both career information
and advice meetings and the Externship Program. Career information
and advice meetings are best conducted at the workplace but if necessary,
can be conducted by email or telephone. The Externship Program
is a shadowing experience where a student spends one or two days at
the workplace of an alum whose career interests them. C.A.N. members
also occasionally visit campus to speak to student groups about career
or employment related topics.
