EDG 753 Teaching Regents and Honors Physics This is a one week seminar designed for teachers with little to no experience teaching high school physics. Although experienced teachers may find this course useful, it is designed to assist new teachers in their early years of teaching. This will be a combination content and pedagogy course. The focus will be on preparing teachers to teach a high school course for college-bound students from any state. We will also discuss the differences between what is appropriate for a basic level course versus an honors course. We will spend some time discussing New York standards and linking topics to them, but this will not be a major focus of the course and should not deter teachers from other states from participating.
