Patricia Lucia Bonfe, Adjunct
Assistant Professor
Professor Bonfe received a BFA and MA in Design from Buffalo State University.
Currently teaching in the Syracuse schools, we welcome her expertise in
graphics at Le Moyne.
Barry Lee Darling, Adjunct Assistant
Professor
Professor Darling received his BA from Utica College of Syracuse University,
served in the United States Marine Corps for four years, then received his
MA from Louisiana University. His prior teaching experience included 28
years as Director of the Department of Art at Henninger High School in Syracuse,
NY. Solo shows range from Syracuse to Santa Fe, New Mexico. His primary
medium is painting.
Jerry M. Exline, Adjunct Professor
Dr. Exline holds PhD and BM degrees from the Eastman School of Music of
the University of Rochester. He also holds a MM degree from the University
of Michigan and a diploma from the Sherwood School of Music. His teaching
experience includes joining the Department of Music at Oswego State University
in 1972, where he served as chair from 1989 to 1996. In addition to his
classes at Le Moyne, Dr. Exline is on the faculty at Cazenovia College.
An accomplished pianist, he has given numerous recitals throughout the Central
New York region, is leader and keyboardist for the Jerry Michaels Ensemble
and Jazz Coop and is on the Board of Directors for Syracuse Civic Morning
Musicales. He is also a substitute host for WCNY 91.3 in Syracuse.
David G. Moore, Adjunct Assistant
Professor
David Moore received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Syracuse
University, completing a Master of Fine Arts degree in photography in 1985.
He has published two books of photographs: False Idols in 1993 and Ephemeral
Beings in 2000. Both books are in museum collections across the nation.
He has been an exhibiting artist for the past 20 years. His most recent
solo exhibition was at the University of California at Berkeley entitled
Remnants of Identity.
William D. West, Adjunct Assistant
Professor
Originally from Manchester, England, Bill West came to Le Moyne College
in 1985 after studying for graduate degrees in Geography and Fine Arts at
Syracuse University. His PhD is in humanities and Dr. West has taught in
Fine Arts, the English Department, and the Honors Program. A most popular
professor, he also teaches at Syracuse University, Onondaga Community College,
University College, and the OASIS program. His writings include the program
notes for the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, is the theatre critic and a travel
writer for the magazine Travel Hopping, and is an auditor for theatre, dance,
and music programs with the New York State Council on the Arts. A world
traveler, he is currently working on a book on the novels and poetry of
Thomas Hardy.
