SUBJECT: RETIREMENT

POLICY STATEMENT:

It is the desire of Le Moyne College to assist employees in adjusting to a new lifestyle and to clarify expectations regarding retirement.

IMPLEMENTATION:

1. Normal retirement age is the end of the fiscal year in which the employee reaches age 65.

2. Employees who are eligible for retirement benefits under the College's retirement plan should notify the Personnel Office at least three (3) months prior to the planned retirement date to ensure a timely computation of benefits (see Policy #520).
