Medical Coverage at Age 65

Employees who continue working beyond age 65 are entitled to the same medical coverage they had before age 65. However, employees and their spouses may want to call or visit a Social Security Office about three months before age 65 in order to enroll in Part A of the Medicare program. It is not necessary to sign up for Part B of Medicare as long as coverage continues under an employer's medical plan.
