Annenberg/CPB is a unit of The Annenberg Foundation of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Their mission is the advancement of excellent teaching in all disciplines throughout American schools.
The group funds and broadly distributes multimedia resources for teachers to help them improve their own teaching practice and understanding of their subject. Annenberg/CPB makes use of telecommunications technologies—the Internet, including broadband video streaming, and satellite television broadcast—as well as hard copy media to disseminate these multimedia resources, ensuring that they reach as many teachers as possible.

WebQuest is a portal which is made up of web-based "quests" designed to guide you through the exploration of a particular subject. Topics are broken down into 11 sub areas and are furhter broken down by age groupings. It provides both a searchable and browsable interface to find existing "quests".
The Academic Commons is a loose community of faculty, academic technologists, librarians, administrators, and other academic professionals who will help create a comprehensive web resource focused on liberal arts education. Academic Commons aims to share knowledge, develop collaborations, and evaluate and disseminate digital tools and innovative practices for teaching and learning with technology. If successful, this site will advance opportunities for collaborative design, open development, and rigorous peer critique of such resources.
MERLOT is a free and open resource designed primarily for faculty and students of higher education. It provides links to online learning materials that include peer reviews and assignments.
