Getting Started With Echo
ECHO at Le Moyne is a Web interface that acts as an online portal and delivers campus community information to your desktop browser and allows you to:
- View upcoming campus events
- Post information
- Access groups and related information here at Le Moyne College
- Search a campuswide directory of students and staff
- Access personal information at their convenience through a secure web interface such as:
Grades
Personal Home directory
Course Scheduling simulator
Financial Aid information
- Link to other campus services such as email, Blackboard and Webadvisor
- Access links detailing services such as SPAM filtering, Antivirus information, and password management
- Access to Verizon Superpages
- Access to Kinkos DocStore
- view ride and swap boards

Each time you access ECHO at Le Moyne, you will need your Novell User Name and password.
As long as your computer has Internet access, you can access ECHO:
- Launch your internet browser
- Enter the web address HTTP://ECHO.LEMOYNE.EDU
- Click on "Sign In" on the menu in the upper left hand corner.
If you forget your username or password, then click on the links in the lower portion of the dialog box, 'Forgot your username?'or 'Forgot your password?'or 'Trouble Signing In?'
- Click on ‘Log Out’ on the menu in the upper right hand corner. Close your browser.
- All official groups need to be registered with an administrator on staff in the Student Life office in the Campus Center's 2nd floor.
- Stop in there to add your group to the listing of official groups.

- Use the HOME button in place of the BACK button.
- For security reasons, the User Name and password will not be stored in the windows ECHO cache. For this reason, you may not use the BACK button on your browser while navigating through the ECHO screens.
- If you have used the BACK button inadvertently, you can always recover by clicking on the ‘Home’ icon in the upper button bar of the screen. It is not necessary to log in again.
