Facility Hours

 

Due to the significant theft of computing equipment from our computer labs over the last 6 months, effective immediately, IT will close the following computer facilities at 10:00 pm each evening:

RH 248, RH 445, RH 447, RH 439
GH 209J
SC 210, SC 228

All of these facilities will reopen at 7:00 a.m. the following morning.

All residence hall facilities will remain open on a 24 hour basis at the discretion of the RDs. The Nelligan Hall facility, behind the Safety and Security Office, is available 24 hours for non residential students.

Based on records of lab usage for the past 3 months, we see very little usage during the latter hours of the evening and early morning. We anticipate the impact on students and employees to be minimal. Security will require that anyone in the labs at 10:00 pm exit.
