Setting Up Your Campus Network Connection

Connecting your Computer to the Campus Network-
Information Technology requires that all students connecting to the campus network from their residence hall locations register their computer with Information Technology prior to being able to access their internet resources. The College has developed this system to ensure that only authorized Le Moyne College users are allowed to access campus network resources and use computers on the campus network. This registration system will allow Information Technology to:

  • Ensure that only authorized users access our network resources
  • Enhance overall security of the Campus network
  • Know who owns each computer accessing the campus network
  • Allow us to better understand our users and the computing environment that we maintain
  • This process is entirely electronic and can be completed in abut 2-3 minutes. In most cases, simply opening up your browser software (Internet Explorer or Netscape) will take you to the Network registration page. (Note: this process can ONLY be done from campusw residences!)
