As indicated in the College Anti-Virus policy, every computer connected to the College network must have the latest security patches and run up-to-date anti-virus software. All College-owned computers are automatically protected with anti-virus software. If you need more information about Windows Security updates, please contact the Technology Help Desk. Mac OS X users should routinely run “Software Update” found under System Preferences.

McAfee anti-virus software is available to Le Moyne College residential students and can be downloaded for free by logging into Echo and following the link on the "My Information" menu. Non-residential students, as well as faculty and staff looking for protection for their home computers, should select the "Virus Protection" link from Echo and follow the download instructions.
