Le Moyne College Learning Communities

On-line registration for 2008-09 learning communities is closed. However, there are LIMITED openings still available in the following communities:

Business
CLAS Act
LEAD
Performing Arts

Registration for learning communities will CLOSE completely on July 9, 2008 in order that we can begin housing placements for the Class of 2012.

Biology Learning Community

It’s all about transition! Enrich your first-year experience, meet students with similar interests, and make your move from high school to college easier by joining one of our first-year learning communities. Each year, we offer opportunities for first-years to share common living and learning experiences that enable them to get to know their instructors, advisor and fellow students quickly. While learning community enrollment is voluntary, it’s often a real benefit to our new students!

Which Community is right for you?
Our learning communities change from year to year based on student and faculty interest. Find out more about each of the learning communities we offer for the Class of 2012 by clicking on each of the links below:

BIO-LIFE: first-year students majoring in biology
BUSINESS: For first-year students majoring in a business discipline
CHOICE: For first-year students undecided on a major
CLAS ACT: For first-year students interested in a teaching career
LEAD (Leadership, Education, Action & Decision): For first-year students in any major, who are interested in service.
NURSING: For first-year students accepted to the Dual Degree Nursing Partnership: (Le Moyne College & St. Joseph’s College of Nursing)
PERFORMING ARTS: For first-year students in any major
