Job description:
|
Students will assist the Administration Department in the Microsoft
Excel spreadsheet data entry & Microsoft Word word processing
of financial business transactions.
|
Students will assist the Administration Department in the processing
of gift books, ordering of supplies, processing, filing and tracking
of invoices, general word processing and printing documents from
computer file.
The Administration Department is in charge of the maintenance,
appearance, and cleanliness of the Library and the setting up
of the Special Activities Room.

Responsibilities:
|
Assisting the Administration Department with processing of invoices
for payment and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet data entry.
Assisting with the verification and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet
data entry of month-end department summaries received from the
Financial Services Office. Department summaries consist
of transactions that have been paid.
Microsoft Excel spreadsheet data entry of biweekly student payroll
register received from the Payroll Department.
Setting up of Special Activities Room for events.
Deliveries to departments on campus.
Miscellaneous office duties as needed, i.e. photocopying, faxing,
typing and answering the telephone, etc.

Gift books - Writing gift slips, searching SIMON and OCLC for
library holdings, conducting book comparisons, printing records
and attaching order records as appropriate, typing reports.
Assist in typing acknowledgment letters for gift books.
Assist in ordering and unpacking of office supplies.
Filing of vendor supply catalogs.
Word processing and printing of general correspondence /forms/lists/documents.
Filing of invoices and order forms.
Checking of invoices against publisher statements.
Assist in organizing order and invoice files.
Setting up of Special Activities Room for events.
Cleaning shelves, vacuuming and dusting throughout the library.
Packing and moving of materials.
Deliveries to departments on campus.
Miscellaneous office duties as needed, i.e. photocopying, faxing,
typing and answering the telephone, etc.
