Provides information on
evaluations, tests, alerts, warnings, and recalls of specific products,
services, and facilities as well as abstracts of articles on all
aspects of consumerism and consumer protection. Web links provide
free, direct access to Internet resources that contain journal articles
online (e.g., FDA Consumer), news releases, booklets, recalls, and
other sources for consumers available via the World Wide Web. The
database includes more 241 peridocial titles with greater
than 90,000 entries on individual products and 60,000 abstracts
of articles about consumer issues, covering 1986 - present.
