Description:	A guide to facts and statistics on current social, economic, political, environmental, and health issues, derived from over 1,000 newspapers, periodicals, newsletters, and documents such as the Christian Science Monitor, the Congressional Record, Daily Press Briefings of the White House, State Department, and Department of Defense; Australian, British and Canadian Parliamentary Debates, and Congressional hearings. It contains links to online documents including complementary translations to English of French language records from the Canadian Parliament. FactSearch corresponds to the printed publication, A Matter of Fact. Each record includes a bibliographic citation for an item, an abstract containing facts and statistics, with a reference to their original source, and library holdings. The database covers from 1984 to the present with new records added every quarter. It is produced by Pierian Press, Inc. Web links to free full text are included frequently.
