Restrictions:	Access to this index is via the World Wide Web through a free system offered by the U.S. National Library of Medicine.
Description:	An easy way to search the 11 million references and abstracts in the MEDLINE database, a database which covers all areas of medicine. It uses the U.S. National Library of Medicine's PubMed retrieval engine to link to about 400 journals for full text of articles (some publishers may require a subscription) and provide pre-computed sets of relevant MEDLINE articles. Internet Grateful Med offers NLM's Medical Subject Headings for searching and uses Loansome Doc for document delivery services (there may be local charges). Databases that can be searched include: MEDLINE; AIDSLINE: AIDSDRUGS; AIDSTRIALS; BIOETHICSLINE; ChemID; DIRLINE: HealthSTAR; HISTLINE; HSRPROJ; OLDMEDLINE; POPLINE; SDILINE: SPACELINE; and TOXLINE.
