The NLM Gateway allows users to search in multiple retrieval
systems at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM). The
current Gateway searches MEDLINE/PubMed, OLDMEDLINE, LOCATORplus,
AIDS Meetings, HSR Meetings, HSRProj, MEDLINEplus and DIRLINE.
An easy way to search the 11 million references and abstracts
in the MEDLINE database, a database which covers all areas of
medicine. For best results, SELECT FIND TERMS to search NLM's
Medical Subject Headings.
Other databases are in the process of being migrated to the NLM
Gateway Databases. NLM expects this data conversion to be completed
during the April-June 2001 timeframe for the following databases:
BIOETHICSLINE, HISTLINE, POPLINE, and SPACELINE - Until that time,
use the Greatful Med interface
for these files.
